Dazed, Vol. VI,

289

Launched in 1991 as Dazed & Confused and conceived as an alternative to mainstream style, fashion and culture magazines, Dazed is now a big name itself, with global distribution and a host of sister publications including Another Magazine, and Hunger. For Autumn 2025, this is ‘The Uncensored Issue’, signalling the start of a new chapter for Dazed as Ibrahim Kamara passes the reigns to new editor-in-chief Ted Stansfield. Alongside the theme, which feels particularly brave in the face of the current hegemony of authoritarianism in the Western world, the issue includes an impressive line up of talents and personalities for whom activism is a daily part of their lives. As Ted writes, the issue is dedicated to everyone wading through the ‘censorial fog’ of our times; highlighting ‘individuals and communities who are refusing to accept limits on their personal, political and artistic expression’.  Choose from a plethora of covers, showcasing the likes of David Jonnson, Lorde, Steve Lacey, Vivian Wilson, Mahmoud Khalil, Fashion East Collective, and Alex Consani, plus hear from creative and political powerhouses Solange, Nan Goldin, Willy Chavarria, Chris Krauss and Wolfgang Tillmans inside.  dazeddigital.com
